Welcome From PCC's Athletic Director...

WELCOME FROM PCC's ATHLETIC DIRECTOR...

I would like to welcome you to our community and another exciting year of Lancers Athletics. With 93 plus years of strong tradition and success, our student-athletes have worked hard in preparation for this year and their competitive seasons. In the 2018-19 school year, Pasadena City College is poised and ready for another outstanding season of success academically and athletically. This edition of Lancers Athletics has a solid collection of student-athletes who have committed to continue the excellence exemplified throughout our college's history.

In 2017-2018, our Lancers teams captured a CCCAA state team title in women's badminton (second straight!), and South Coast Conference championships in women's volleyball, badminton and men's swimming (dual season title). Volleyball, women's basketball, baseball, and softball all qualified for the SoCal Playoffs and men's swimming placed sixth overall at the State Championships, that program's best finish in 40 years. In the classroom, our Scholar Baller List included 83 student-athletes.

PCC's athletic teams annually strive toward excellence in the classroom, in the field/court/pool of play, and in the community. Pasadena City College Athletics takes great pride in preparing student-athletes for their future endeavors in academics, athletics and life. This balance allows for our young men and women to have an opportunity to achieve their life goals and aspirations. This, coupled with the daily commitment from dedicated coaches and staff, demonstrates the comprehensive educational opportunities offered here at PCC.

I encourage our Lancers family to respectfully partner with us in supporting this season's teams as they take on the journey of chasing their dreams and goals.
