Salcedo had a banner frosh season as an All-South Coast Conference Second Team catcher last year. He led the Lancers in batting average (.369), home runs (eight), doubles (16), triples (four), and RBI (39). He was second behind Mt. San Antonio, 3C2A State Player of the Year Landon White in conference slugging percentage at .691. He gunned out seven runners attempting steal defensively.

The Pasadena City College baseball team closed out the 2026 regular season on Saturday, knocking off LA Pierce, 11-5, and in the process the Lancers have clinched their eight consecutive trip to the Southern California Regional Playoffs. The game was also the home finale for PCC at its off-campus park--Brookside Park's Jackie Robinson Field.

If the game of baseball was decided on participation, visiting Victor Valley College would have won going away v. Pasadena City College. Fortunately for the Lancers, while the Rams managed to play what is likely a community college record of 36 players, PCC concentrated on putting runs on the board and walked away with a 17-3 win on Tuesday afternoon.
