Fifteen Lancers Make 75-Player, All-SCFA American Pacific League Football Team

The winter holiday presents came early and the more the merrier it seems when it came to the selections for the 2019 All-SCFA American Pacific League Football Team. Pasadena City College's 6-4 season and second place showing resulted in 15 Lancers being picked to the First and Second Teams. In all, 75 players were chosen from the six teams in the league.

Back-to-Back Shutouts Cap 6-4 Season--Finest Finish By PCC Football In 11 Years

The 2019 Pasadena City College football team did something over its final three games that no Lancers team had accomplished in 67 years. PCC didn't allow a touchdown or field goal over its final 12 quarters of play and capped its first above-.500 season since 2008 with its second straight shutout, 35-0 over Santa Barbara City College Saturday night at Robinson Stadium.

First Shutout In 10 Years and Best Defensive Stretch By Football Since 1974

You have to go back to the last undefeated Lancers football team in 1974 to find a better defensive stretch of play than the 2019 Pasadena City College squad. PCC recorded its first shutout in a decade and extended a streak of eight straight quarters without allowing a touchdown or field goal in blanking Los Angeles Harbor, 33-0, Saturrday night at Robinson Stadium.

Saddleback Hands PCC Football Its First Loss

Down 25-0 after the first quarter, the Pasadena City College football team could have followed script and let the state #4-rated and upper SCFA National Division Saddleback Gauchos run up the score Saturday night. Instead, the lower-American Division Lancers battled the last three quarters and made things more than respectable in a 53-28 loss at Robinson Stadium.
