Eleven D1 Commits Part of Largest Lancers Football Transfer Class In 8 Years

Eleven players from the 2024 American Division championship Pasadena City College football team have signed scholarships to attend NCAA Division I universities. With still a few student-athletes mulling choices, the Lancers commit list is now up to 23 that will play at the next level.

PCC Football Captures SCFA American Championship, Undefeated At 11-0

Defense carried the 2024 Pasadena City College football team this season, so naturally it was big plays from the D that propelled the Lancers to defeat Chaffey, 23-14, in winning the SCFA American Division Championship Bowl before more than 1,200 fans at Robinson Stadium Saturday night.

Perfect Regular Season For Football

The circumstances were different, but the end result for the 2024 Pasadena City College football team was the same as its predecessor 50 years earlier. The Lancers completed an undefeated regular season at 10-0 (one forfeit) by routing Los Angeles Valley, 46-6, Saturday evening at Robinson Stadium.

Blanking Of Glendale Earns Football 2nd Straight American Pacific League Title

The undefeated Pasadena City College football team earned its second straight SCFA American Pacific League championship on Saturday aftternoon, repeating in nearly an identical way to last season--a shutout of Glendale College in week #9, 12-0.

The state #21-ranked Pasadena City College football team has certainly feasted on the competition in the SCFA American Division this season, now at 8-0 overall after Saturday's 32-7 win at Los Angeles Southwest College. But the formula to the team's success is simple--the Lancers first-string defense dominates opponents while the squad has built commanding halftime leads.

Fast Start Leads To Football's 7th Straight Victory

The Pasadena City College football team struck for three touchdowns in the opening 4:24 of Saturday's Homecoming Game and went on to win its seventh straight contest, defeating visiting LA Pierce, 45-10, at Robinson Stadium.

Football 6-0 After Winning American Pacific League Opener

The Pasadena City College football team used an efficient ground game that resulted in five touchdowns as the Lancers stayed perfect at 6-0 by winning their SCFA American Pacific League opener over Santa Monica, 35-16, on Saturday afternoon. The game was moved to PCC due to the tragic shooting that closed down the SMC campus this week.

Key Defensive Plays Help Football Get By Chaffey, 21-19

Pasadena City College's football team twice thrwarted conversion attempts by Chaffey, then shut down the Panthers on a fourth-and-two in PCC territory in the final minute to pull out a 21-19 victory before a large crowd at Robinson Stadium on Saturday evening.

Football Downs Victor Valley, Moves to 3-0

After an extra week off due to a postponement of last week's contest v. College of the Desert, the Pasadena City College football team returned to action on Saturday night. The Lancers raced to a 45-0 lead by the end of three quarters and coasted to a 45-14, SCFA non-league road victory over Victor Valley.

The scheduled SCFA game to be hosted by Pasadena City College's football team v. College of the Desert on Saturday has been officially postponed. According to Director of Football Operations/Head Coach Robert Tucker, the game will possibly be rescheduled. The postponement due to Desert not having enough players available as cancels the ceremony planned for the 50th anniversary of the undefeated 1974 Lancers on Saturday.

BREAKING NEWS--CEREMONY AND DESERT GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COD NOT HAVING ENOUGH HEALTHY PLAYERS AVAILABLE. Prior to this Saturday's Pasadena City College football game v. College of the Desert, the college will recognize the 50th anniversary of the 1974 undefeated Lancers team in a ceremony honoring members of that squad. The ceremony will begin approximately 15 minutes prior to the opening kickoff of 6 p.m. at Robinson Stadium.

The M&Ms--running backs Micah Mendoza and Mohammad Maali--propelled the offense as the state #24-ranked Pasadena City College football team totaled 49 first-half points on its way to a 56-14 rout over West Los Angeles at Robinson Stadium on Saturday night.
