Playoff Seed Awaits Men's Basketball As Regular Season Ends

The Pasadena City College men's basketball team closed out the 2024-25 regular season by securing third place in the South Coast Conference North Division as the Lancers look forward to their third consecutive postseason in the three seasons since head coach Ryan Frazer took over the program.

Men's Cagers, Swillis Rebound From Tough Loss With Winning Effort v. LA Trade Tech

Two evenings ago, the Pasadena City College men's basketball team allowed Los Angeles City to steal a game from the Lancers, 64-63, on an off night for the team and post forward Dylan Swillis. PCC responded Friday by getting a sterling performance by Swillis, who scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in an 84-79, South Coast Conference North Division victory over LA Trade Tech at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.

SCC North Opening-Win For Men's Basketball A Matter Of Just Adding Creamer

Freshman forward Cooper Creamer picked the right time to have a breakout performance. The 6-foot-5 post player produced season bests in points with 25 and for the first time reached double figures in rebounds with 11 as the Pasadena City College men's basketball team opened South Coast Conference North Division play with a 75-67 victory at LA Trade-Tech on Wednesday night.

Board Work Lifts Men's Cagers To Road Victory

Last season, the Pasadena City College men's basketball team had a successful 19-11 season and won a playoff game, but one area of concern for the Lancers was a rebounding disadvantage v. a number of teams. PCC was outrebound in all but one of its losses.

Dealing Dylan: Swillis Leads PCC In Skip Robinson Classic Triumph

As the premier rebounder and inside player on the Pasadena City College men's basketball team, returning sophomore wing Dylan Swillis is already a key presence to the Lancers attack. But the 6-foot-5 performer added a new wrinkle as long-range shooter in helping PCC defeat Glendale, 76-59, to finish the Lancers Skip Robinson Classic round-robin tourney on Saturday afternoon.
