Jimenez Heads List of 4 To Earn All-SCC Men's Soccer Honors

Leading scorer and sophomore forward Anthony Jimenez, who tallied eight goals and six assists, topped a group of four Lancers to be picked to the 2018 All-South Coast Conference North Division Men's Soccer Team.

Fit To Be Tied, Men's Soccer Season Closes

A season of late leads being erased came to an end Friday for the Pasadena City College men's soccer team. The Lancers had one more chance at victory dashed by host El Camino as the Warriors scored in the final minute to tie PCC, 2-2, in South Coast Conference crossover game.

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team can only think about what might have been in the 2018 season. As has been the case against good to great opponents, the Lancers held leads going into the final minutes only to see them turn into ties and defeats.

Men's Soccer Keeps Playoff Hopes Alive With Upset Of Chaffey

Going into the final few weeks of South Coast Conference play, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team has a narrow margin of error to try to grab a postseason playoff berth. The Lancers went in the right direction Friday when they knocked off Chaffey, 2-1, in a North Division game at Robinson Stadium.

Big Lead Disappears In 4-4 Tie For Men's Soccer

No lead is safe at Robinson Stadium. The Pasadena City College men's soccer team learned that lesson Tuesday after jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the game's first 12 minutes and holding a 4-1 lead after 35 minutes. Visiting Los Angeles Harbor bombarded the Lancers with numerous scoring chances over the final 55 minutes and rallied to gain a 4-4 tie.

Men's Soccer Edges Compton, 2-1

Romio Sislian deked past two Compton defenders and darted around the goalie to knock in the game-winning goal with eight minutes left, lifting the Pasadena City College men's soccer team over the Tartars, 2-1, Tuesday at Robinson Stadium.

Men's Soccer Lets Lead Slip Away In 4-3 Loss To #8 Rio Hondo

The unranked Pasadena City College men's soccer team had all the momentum after taking a 1-0 halftime lead and then going ahead 3-1 after 62 minutes Friday against state No. 8 ranked Rio Hondo College. But the Roadrunners, the region's No. 6 rated squad in power points, showed why they are rated so high by rallying for three straight goals to send the Lancers to a 4-3, South Coast Conference North Division loss at Robinson Stadium.

Nunez Late Goal Gives PCC Home-Opening 3-2 Win Over ELAC

After seven road games to start the season, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team finally played its 2018 home opener Friday at Robinson Stadium. The narrow football field has always produced some classic games and the matchup between the Lancers and visiting East Los Angeles was another end-to-end thriller.

Men's Soccer Keeps Up Strong Road Trip

The Pasadena City College men's soccer team didn't know what to expect on its long, season-opening, 7-match road trip, but a 3-2-1 mark thus far has encouraged the Lancers as they enter the highly difficult South Coast Conference schedule. The Lancers shut out host Glendale, 2-0, on Friday night.

Men's Soccer Nearly Upsets State No. 1-Ranked Taft, Ends As 1-1 Tie

It was oh so close for the Pasadena City College men's soccer team Friday as the Lancers held a 1-0 lead on the road at state No. 1-ranked Taft after 90 minutes. But with a long stoppage time determined by the referees, Taft drew a foul in the box on PCC six minutes later and capitalized with a penalty kick goal to pull out a 1-1 tie v. unranked Pasadena.

Jimenez Keys Men's Soccer Blanking Of LA Mission, 3-0

It was a week shy of a year ago that Anthony Jimenez scored his first collegiate goal when the then freshman drove in a shot at LA Mission College's El Cariso Field. After missing the team's first three games, Jimenez returned to the Lancers lineup Tuesday for his sophomore debut. Lo and behold, Jimenez was playing at that same field and he again made his presence known.

Men's Soccer Holds Off Southwestern, 2-1

Romio Sislian scored with a minute left before halftime for the deciding goal in a 2-1 victory for the Pasadena City College men's soccer team at Southwestern College on Friday. The Lancers evened their record to 1-1.

Men's Soccer Embarks On Long Road Start

With seven straight road matches to begin the 2018 season, the Pasadena City College men's soccer team knows it will have to figure out ways to combat the traveling while trying to keep up with some of its high-rated opponents.
