After the best start to a season in Pasadena City College men's soccer team history in a 10-game undefeated streak (7-0-3), the last half of the Lancers 2025 season has been a rough one. PCC has won just once in its last eight games and dropped a 6-1 decision at Los Angeles City on Friday in the first round of the South Coast Conference Tournament.
Beset by injuries to two of its top defenders during a 1-6-1 downturn, PCC is 10-7-4 overall after finishing in third place in the SCC North Division (3-5-1). Despite the recent setbacks, PCC is still primed right now at 18th in the RPI ratings which helps decide the 24 teams that make the SoCal Regional Playoffs.
Julian Zuniga continues to lead the team in scoring with seven goals, four assists for 18 points while Solemon Alveno-Donofrio has five goals, five helpers for 15 points.
Jeremiah Alomo scored the team's lone goal on a penalty kick in the second half v. LACC.
David Canales and Ronaldo Garcia scored in PCC's 4-2 loss at Cerritos on Nov. 4
The Lancers play Cerritos again in the SCC Tournament fifth place final at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13.
PCC will then await its seeding for what will be a road playoff game. Check this website for that announcement.
