Pasadena City College was well-represented on the 2018 All-American men's swimming listings, earning 15 spots including 12 that were state top 5 marks.

A year that started with a perfect 7-0 South Coast Conference dual record ended with a sixth place finish, the best ever under head coach Terry Stoddard, by the Pasadena City College men's swimming team at the 2018 CCCAA State Swimming and Diving Championships held May 3-5 at De Anza College.

Samuel Jo Repeats As SCC Swimmer of Year; Men's Team Settles For 3rd Place

It wasn't what the Pasadena City College men's swim team hoped for, but the Lancers found much to cheer about at the 2018 South Coast Conference Championships held April 19-21 at Mt. San Antonio College. After a perfect SCC dual meet season, the Lancers placed third at the conference finals, finishing behind winner Mt. San Antonio and second-place El Camino. PCC has never won the SCC team championship title.

Eight Men's Records Broken at 18th Pasadena Invitational Swim Meet

While the Pasadena City College men's swim team has had a wonderful run this season, the Lancers learned how competitive the opponent field is in the state at the 18th Pasadena Invitational April 5-7. PCC took fifth place for the second straight year while Orange Coast snapped Golden West's 3-year title streak here for the '18 team title.

PCC Men's Swim Wins First South Coast Dual Title

For the first time in its 32-year history in the South Coast Conference, the Pasadena City College men's swim team won the conference dual season title. The Lancers completed a perfect season at 7-0 in SCC duals on Friday in defeating host Cerritos College, 156-103, and LA Trade Tech, 204-47.

Men's Swim Still Perfect In SCC Duals At 5-0

With a dominating 13 event victories, the Pasadena City College men's swim team routed visiting Chaffey, 179-75, on March 30 to stay undefeated in South Coast Conference duals at 5-0. PCC is 6-1 overall.

Wang 5 Event Wins, PCC Men's Swim 2nd At Mt. SAC Invite

Buoyed by five event wins from freshman Ryan Wang, The Pasadena City College men's swim team took second place for its highest team finish ever at the annual Mt. San Antonio Invitational meet held Feb. 22-24. PCC totaled 571.5 points to place behind runaway winner Orange Coast (1,023.5) and ahead of the other 14 scoring colleges.

Men's Swim Targeting Big 2018 Goals

Last season, the Pasadena City College men's swim team made a return to the upper tier with a ninth place showing at the CCCAA State Championships. The Lancers featured the South Coast Conference Co-Swimmer of the Year in Samuel Jo and produced 11 All-American swims.
