Men's Swim Takes 6th At 19th Pasadena Invitational
The Pasadena City College men's swim team placed sixth out of 15 teams at the 19th Pasadena Invitational held April 4-6 at the Aquatic Center. Individually, Lancers freshman Michael Humphrey was fourth in individual points scoring with 61.

It was the first time since 2016 that the Lancers did not record an event victory. Diablo Valley College won the men's team title with 760 points to edge out Mt. San Antonio with 738. PCC scored 231 as a team.
Humphrey placed second overall in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:17.05 and was third in the 200 butterfly in 1:58.63. He was fifth in the 200 IM (2:00.47), ninth in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.17) and 11th in the 100 butterfly (53.85).
Harrison Tin scored fourth in the 100 breaststroke (59.45) and was eighth in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.09). Mario Castanon won his heat and took ninth in the 200 breaststroke (2:17.32). Brandon Tu placed ninth in both the 200 backstroke (2:06.52) and 400 IM (4:38.11).
The 200 medley relay squad of Tu, Tin, Humphrey and Mathew Bilaver finished sixth in 1:40.11 while the 800 freestyle relay of Humphrey, Tin, Bilaver and Grayson Wade placed seventh in 7:46.04. The 400 medley relay grouping of Tu, Tin, Humphrey and Bilaver was ninth in 3:47.28.
Aaron Argenal won his heat in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.73) and William Loo won his secondary heat in the 200 freestyle (2:20.49).
After nine records were set last year by meet participants, only Pierce College's Mario Marshall picked up a meet record in the 100 freestyle in 45.64.
Coach Terry Stoddard's Lancers take part in the South Coast Conference Championships April 18-20 at Mt. San Antonio College.
