Pasadena City College's only men's cross country qualifier Felipe Loera placed 100th overall with a time of 22:42.3 at the Southern California Championships held Friday at Mission Bay Park in San Diego.
It was a tough 4-mile run for the Pasadena City College men's team as it placed last or sixth place out of six teams with 163 points at the South Coast Conference Championships. The top Lancers finisher was freshman Felipe Loera (Mountain View High), who placed 30th in the 65-runner field at 24:55.60. The 4-mile run took place at Palos Verdes Lunada Bay Park, hosted by El Camino.
