Sosa Races To 88th At 3C2A State Cross Country Championships

Ashley Sosa raced to 88th place as the lone Pasadena City College runner participating at the 3C2A State Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Fresno's Woodward Park. The PCC 2024 season officially came to an end.

The freshman Sosa ran a time of 21:28.5 over the 5-kilometer course in a field of 172 runners overall.

At the Southern California Championships at Chaffey College on Nov. 8, Sosa placed 61st (21:49.9) in the upper half of the field of 141. Teammates Jaylin Morgan scored 109th (24:15.2) and Rubi Ochoa 123rd (25:25.7). 

On the men's side, Teddie Wen scored 125th at 23:55.5 in the 4-mile race
