Rocky Start To SCC North Play For Women's Basketball

For one quarter, the Pasadena City College women's basketball team looked like a squad on all cylinders in taking a commanding 25-13 lead over East Los Angeles. The Lancers though have had trouble stopping opponents of late and they had no answer to a Huskies comeback in losing their third straight South Coast Conference North Division game, 90-68, at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium on Wednesday night.

Menzies Excels As PCC Women's Basketball Opens '24-25 Season

Freshman point guard Monica Menzies came in with some bells and whistles as a prize recruit for the pre-season state #25-ranked Pasadena City College women's basketball team. On Friday, her collegiate debut lived up to the billing as she dazzled with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists as she helped the Lancers win their 2024-25 season opener, 60-34, over Palo Verde at the round-robin, PCC Sisterhood of Champions Tournament.
