Holt, Coats Lead Women's Soccer To First SCC Win Since 2017

The Pasadena City College women's soccer team needed two of its best players to step up on Tuesday afternoon. Women's Soccer Rally Falls Short v. Cerritos, 3-2

It was the 7-year itch. Except in this case, it was the Pasadena City College women's soccer team desire to end a dubious scoreless streak v. state #17 Cerritos College. Not only did PCC stop a 10-game, head-to-head string of not scoring a goal v. the powerful Falcons, the Lancers roared back from a 3-0 deficit and played inspired soccer in a 3-2 loss Friday at Robinson Stadium.

ELAC Stops Women's Soccer Undefeated Streak At 8

It was a matchup of the state's-leading scoring and undefeated Pasadena City College women's soccer team and an opponent that had scored only one goal in six games--winless 0-5-1 East Los Angeles College. Naturally, statistics were thrown out the proverbial window as the Huskies broke out with 3 consecutive second-half goals and withstood a furious Lancers rally to hand PCC its first loss of the 2019 season, 3-2, Tuesday afternoon.

Second-Half Scoring Bonanza Sends Women's Soccer To Another Victory

Things were looking a little shaky a minute into the second half for the Pasadena City College women's soccer team on Friday. Visitor Mt. San Jacinto had just tied the game at 1-1, erasing a first half where PCC controlled most of the ball possession as well as scoring chances. But all the tying goal did was get the Lancers mad.
