Women Soccer's Erica Perez Moves On To Saint Katherine

The fourth sophomore from the 2019 Pasadena City College women's soccer team to commit to a 4-year university is All-South Coast Conference First Team midfielder/forward Erica Perez. The letterman signed with NAIA University of Saint Katherine in San Marcos.

Women's Soccer Sophomore Ashley Rivera Signs With UAV

Ashley Rivera became the third sophomore from the 2019 Pasadena City College women's soccer team to make her 4-year commitment. Rivera is joining fellow Lancer Sophia Noriega in signing with the NAIA University of Antelope Valley in Lancaster.

Terryn Soelberg made history this week as both the first woman and first full-time coach/instructor to direct the Pasadena City College women's soccer program. Soelberg was hired as just the fifth Lancers head coach in the sport's 23-year history at the college.

Women Soccer's Noriega 2nd Lancer To Commit To 4-Year University

Pasadena City College women's soccer sophomore Sophia Noriega, a two-year starting forward, has chosen her next destination--NAIA University of Antelope Valley in Lancaster. Noriega is the second Lancer to commit after Katy Coats signed with NCAA Division II MSU Denver in January.

Women Soccer's Katy Coats Signs Scholarship With MSU Denver

Pasadena City College women's soccer sophomore Katy Coats, an All-State player and the state's second leading scorer in 2019, signed her national scholarship letter of intent to attend and play at Metropolitan State University of Denver (Colorado). Coats celebrated the signing with her parents, friends, teammates and PCC head coach Francisco Cantero at signing ceremony on Friday.

After finishing second in goals and total points among California Community College players, Pasadena City College sophomore midfielder Katy Coats was named to the CCCSCA 2019 Women's Soccer All-State Team.

Katy Coats was a 2-time All-SCC First Team choice for the Lancers in her two yeras at PCC.

Led by 2-time, First Team selection Katy Coats, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team placed four players on the 2019 All-South Coast Conference Team.

State Scoring Leader Coats Nets 2 More In Women's Soccer Tie

Katy Coats twice rallied the Pasadena City College women's soccer team as her second goal in the 85th minute lifted the Lancers to a 2-2 tie v. East Los Angeles on Nov. 1 at Robinson Stadium. Coats continues to lead the state in scoring with 69 points, including 29 goals.

Holt, Coats Lead Women's Soccer To First SCC Win Since 2017

The Pasadena City College women's soccer team needed two of its best players to step up on Tuesday afternoon. Both did just that as Katy Coats continued her state-leading scoring run with two goals and an assist while goalie Alyssa Holt made seven saves as the Lancers ended a 6-game winless streak to defeat El Camino, 3-2, at Robinson Stadium.

Women's Soccer Rally Falls Short v. Cerritos, 3-2

It was the 7-year itch. Except in this case, it was the Pasadena City College women's soccer team desire to end a dubious scoreless streak v. state #17 Cerritos College. Not only did PCC stop a 10-game, head-to-head string of not scoring a goal v. the powerful Falcons, the Lancers roared back from a 3-0 deficit and played inspired soccer in a 3-2 loss Friday at Robinson Stadium.

Women's Soccer Suffers Worst Home Defeat

State #9-ranked Rio Hondo College handed the Pasadena City College women's soccer program its worst home loss in its 23-year history on Tuesday, 9-1, at Robinson Stadium. The Lancers, who were ranked on the CCCSIA State Top 20 before falling out this week, went from being undefeated going into this month to winless in October at 0-4-1.

Women's Soccer Snakebit At Finish, Tie 3-3

The Pasadena City College women's soccer team threw pretty much everything at visiting Reedley in the second half of their non-conference game Friday afternoon. After a wild first half in which PCC took a 3-2 lead, the Lancers ripped 19 shots at the Tigers over the final 45 minutes in trying to build on the advantage.

ELAC Stops Women's Soccer Undefeated Streak At 8

It was a matchup of the state's-leading scoring and undefeated Pasadena City College women's soccer team and an opponent that had scored only one goal in six games--winless 0-5-1 East Los Angeles College. Naturally, statistics were thrown out the proverbial window as the Huskies broke out with 3 consecutive second-half goals and withstood a furious Lancers rally to hand PCC its first loss of the 2019 season, 3-2, Tuesday afternoon.

Biggest PCC Women's Soccer Win In 20 Years, 11-1 Over WLAC

From the start of the Pasadena City College women's soccer program in 1997 through 1999, the Lancers had plenty of high-scoring team performances. In fact, seven times during that span PCC reached 10 or more goals in a game. What few knew until this release, Friday's 11-1 home rout over West Los Angeles was the first time the Lancers accomplished the feat in 20 years.

Women's Soccer Keeps Undefeated String With Late Goal

The high-scoring and #15-state rated Pasadena City College women's soccer team had plenty of scoring chances v. visiting Allan Hancock on Friday, but unlike previous games it seemed like nothing would go in. Finally with less than nine minutes left, the Lancers hit payturf when Ashley Rivera knocked in a rebound off a free kick by Katy Coats for a 1-1 tie at Robinson Stadium.

Women's Soccer Ranked #15 In State Poll, Top Current State Power Points

What a difference a year makes. A program that won just one game last year has made a giant leap in the other direction under second-year head coach Francisco Cantero. The Lancers roared over host Norco, 5-1, on Tuesday, improving their perfect record to 4-0.
