Eight members of the most victorious Pasadena City College women's soccer team in school history will continue their playing and academic careers at 4-year universities. It's the largest class of student-athlete transfers ever produced by the program.

Amazing Women's Soccer Season Comes To Conclusion In Regional Finals

It wasn't the storybook finish, but the Pasadena City College women's soccer team will remember the 2024 season as the greatest in the school's history in the sport. Three Saddleback goals in a span of 10 minutes in the first half proved too much for the #2 seed Lancers as they lost, 3-0, in the SoCal Regional Finals on Saturday afternoon.

Early Mistake Spurs Women's Soccer In Round 3 Playoff Triumph

What started out with a self-inflicted wound instead seemed to only motivate the #2 seed Pasadena City College women's soccer team on Tuesday in its Southern California Regional Round 3 contest v. visiting #7 Ventura. An own goal less than a minute into the game put the Lancers behind, but PCC roared back with two goals in the final three minutes of the first half to advance to the regional finals, 3-1.

Women's Soccer Survives Round 1 Thriller in Penalty Kicks

For 120 minutes, #15 seed LA Pierce and the host #2 Pasadena CIty College women's soccer team couldn't net a goal. In the ensuing penalty kick shootout, the Lancers fell behind early, but found a way to overtake the Brahmas, 4-3, to advance in the Southern California Regional Playoffs on Saturday.

The Pasadena City College women's soccer team is seeing the fruits of its labor as the awards and recognition are pouring in. First, the Lancers were selected as the #2 seed with a first round bye for this week's start of the SoCal Regional Playoffs. Then PCC learned midfielder Charlie Gallardo was named the South Coast Conference North Division Offensive Player of the Year while head coach Terryn Soelberg chosen SCC North Coach of the Year.

The Pasadena City College women's soccer team performed the perfect ending to its most successful regular season in its history by winning the South Coast Conference Tournament championship, 1-0, v. rival Mt. San Antonio in the tourney final at El Camino College on Thursday.

In what has been an amazing 2024 season, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team broke the school record for longest win streak set earlier this year by the Lancers. PCC collected its eight straight victory, blanking host Compton College, 7-0, behind the third hat trick of the season by South Coast Conference-leading scorer Charlie Gallardo.

The Pasadena City College women's soccer team collected its sixth straight South Coast Conference victory--yet another school record for most conference wins in a row--defeating host Los Angeles City, 6-1, on Tuesday. The Lancers also learned that it had moved up a slot to #2 on the just released CCCSIA State Top 20 rankings.

For the third time in the last four years, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team reached double figures in goals in a game. On Friday at Robinson Stadium, the state #3-ranked Lancers had seven different goal scorers in an 11-1, South Coast Conference rout over LA Harbor.

After scoring just one goal in three previous games, the state #3 Pasadena City College women's soccer found itself in urgency mode tied 1-1 v. Cerritos in the second half of their South Coast Conference game on Friday. PCC responded on a Raylyn Laney goal in the 69th minute, then scored two more in a minute span late to register a 4-1 victory at Robinson Stadium.
