Women's Track and Field Season Ends

Low in numbers and hurt by injuries to some key athletes, the Pasadena City College women's track and field team saw its season officially come to an end at the Southern California Regional Prelims Meet held May 6 at Cerritos College.

Recent Meets Spark Women's Track and Field

Small in numbers, the Pasadena City College women's track and field team received a boost with the recent addition of Lancers basketball star Kailyn Gideon to the roster. Gideon won her heat and was sixth overall in the 100-meter dash at 13.39 seconds at the BC Relays held Mar. 25 at Bakersfield College.

PCC Track's Millanponce Records State 12th Fastest 5,000 At CSULA Meet

At the Cal State Los Angeles Invitational held Friday, Pasadena City College women's track runner Franceska Millanponce ran seventh place in the 5,000 meters as her 19:24.79 time places her 12th currently in the state rankings for the event.
