PCC Sports Season Ends With State Track Meet

The Pasadena City College women's track and field team had two athletes score a top 8 finish during the Lancers sports season-ending event at the CCCAA State Championships on Friday-Saturday. The state meet was hosted by Mt. San Antonio College.

Baer, Hollinger, Garcia Qualify For State Meet, Women's Track and Field Place 15th At SoCal

In the best showing by a Pasadena City College women's track and field team since 2014, the Lancers field athletes combined to score 20 points and finish a respectable 15th at the SoCal Championships held at Moorpark College on Friday.

Bay Hollinger is the first SCC champion from PCC women's track and field in eight years.
High Jumper Hollinger First Lancer Women's Track and Field SCC Champion Since 2014

Pasadena CIty College freshman Bay Hollinger used a 5-foot, 3-inch leap to win the high jump and become the first Lancers women's track and field athlete to win a South Coast Conference title since 2014. Hollinger helped PCC place fifth as a team at the SCC Championships held April 19 and 23 at El Camino College.

Baer Reaches #2 in SCC Javelin At Cal State LA Twilight Meet

Lily Baer's throw of 102 feet, 1 inch in the javelin at the Cal State Los Angeles Twilight Open on Wednesday has placed the Pasadena City College women's track and field thrower into contention for a possible title in the South Coast Conference.

Three Event Wins For Women's Track and Field at Pasadena Relays

The Pasadena City College women's track and field team enjoyed its first home meet in more than two years by scoring three event victories at the Pasadena Relays at Robinson Stadium on Friday.

Women's T/F Ghazanchian, Hollinger Win Field Events At LBCC Meet

Earlier this month at the Long Beach City College Viking Invitational, two Pasadena City College women's track and field athletes won their events. Liz Ghazanchian won the discus event with a throw of 115 feet and Bay Hollinger captured the high jump in a leap of 4-9.

Thrower Ghazanchian Stands Out As Women's Track and Field Opens 2022 Season

Liz Ghazanchian placed third in the shot put and fourth in the discus throw as the Pasadena City College women's track and field team opened the 2022 season at the South Coast Conference Opener meet held at Mt. San Antonio College on Feb. 4.

Former Lancer Clark Breaks World Record In 400 For Tokyo Paralympic Gold

Pasadena City College women's track and field alumna Breanna Clark eclipsed her own world record to earn a gold medal for Team USA in the women’s T20 400-meter race on Tuesday at the Tokyo Paralympic Games. It was her second consecutive gold medal performance in that race as she won gold at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
