Ireja Lauderdale set the fastest time in the 100 meters as she led a host of Pasadena City College women's track and field competitiors at the Southern California Prelims meet held May 2 at Bakersfield College's Memorial Stadium.
Behind two jump champions, the Pasadena City College women's track and field team scored 66.5 points, the most in 13 years, and placed fourth at the South Coast Conference Prelims/Championships held April 21 and on Saturday (April 25) at El Camino College.
Five event victories were part of a strong performance for the Pasadena City College women's track and field team as it placed second out of 12 scoring teams at the Coast Classic held March 13 hosted by Orange Coast College.
