Volleyball's Galvan Chosen South Coast Conference Libero of Year

Most of the time when a team wins a conference title to the victor go the spoils. But the Pasadena City College women's volleyball team garnered only one of the three major awards on the All-South Coast Conference North Division Team. Sophomore Pamela Galvan was named the SCC Libero of the Year.

Defending SCC North Volleyball Champs Lose Conference Opener In 5

After a perfect 8-0 trip last year to win the South Coast Conference North Division, the Pasadena City College women's volleyball team is learning just how much tougher the conference race will be in 2018. Not only did the Lancers get upset by East Los Angeles in the SCC opener Wednesday, but top rival Mt. San Antonio also was upset in 3 by Rio Hondo. The Lancers most recent marathon took place Friday night at Cerritos with PCC winning the South Coast Conference crossover, 23-25, 25-12, 25-16, 18-25, 15-11.
