Pasadena City College women's volleyball team's South Coast Conference setter-opposite Shayla Ungos will be continuing her playing career and education in earning a scholarship to NCAA Division II Menlo College in Atherton.

A 2-year letterman for the Lancers, Ungos finished second on the team in set assists with 302, third in kills (112) and blocks (36), served 28 aces, and added 136 digs (1.8 average).

Ungos earned a State Player of the Week award to open the '24 season. She helped the Lancers earn SoCal Regional Playoff spots in both of her seasons and played on this year's SCC North Division Co-Champion squad.

Ungos played under head coach Mike Terrill, who upped his movement of players to the next level to 24.
