Guardado Places 68th At SoCal, PCC Women's Cross Country Season Ends

Lancers freshman runner Carissa Guardado placed 68th at the Southern California Championships held at Fountain Valley's Mile Square Park. Guardado, who endured through an injury later in the year, missed by a few places of qualiying for the CCCAA State Championships thus ending the Pasadena City College women's cross country season.

Women's Cross Country's Guardado Just Misses All-Conference, Qualifies For SoCal Meet

Carissa Guardado placed 15th overall, just a place from All-South Coast Conference Second Team honors, as the Pasadena City College women's cross country runner participated in the 2021 SCC Championships held October 29 at Compton's Wilson Park.

Estrada Grabs Spotlight For Women's Cross Country

With top runner Carissa Guardado nursing a minor injury to prepare for the final championship meets, Dariana Estrada stepped into the role of No. 1 runner for the Pasadena City College women's cross country team at the Mt. San Antonio Invite on Friday.

Women's Cross Country's Guardado 9th At Golden West Classic

Pasadena City College women's cross country freshman Carissa Guardado continues her ascent as a quality racer by finishing in ninth place overall at the Golden West Central Park Classic held Friday in Huntington Beach. Guardado posted a time of 20 minutes, 53.6 seconds over the 5-kilometer course.

Women's Cross Country's Guardado 4th Best Community College Racer At Biola Invitational

Carissa Guardado finished 70th overall at the Biola Invitational Friday morning, but the Pasadena City College women's cross country racer showed her worth by placing fourth among all California Community College runners in the event.

Carissa Guardado is PCC's current top racer on the 2021 women's cross country team. She was a decorated racer at Providence High.
Women's Cross Country Looking To Add Runners

With 2019 All-South Coast Conference runner Olivia Ruiz graduated after missing out on her sophomore season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Pasadena City College women's cross country team is without a marquee racer. The Lancers are also trying to add runners as the 2021 season began Friday at the Moorpark Invitational.
