BC INVITE RESULTS

Camila Gonzalez placed ninth out of 58 racers to help Pasadena City College's women's cross country team score fifth as a team at the Bakersfield "BC" Invite held Oct. 3.

Gonzalez ran a personal best 20 minutes, 28.34 seconds over the 5-kilometer course. She was followed by scoring runners in Ellen Kim in 20th (21:34.72), Deniya Fields in 21st (21:41.14), Graciela Franquez in 35th (23:01.86), and Nadia Mims in 55th (28:38). 

Also running for PCC were Carolina De Los Santos (57th, 30:19) and Priscilla Corona (58th, 60:03). 

Cerritos (55 points) won the 6-team field while the Lancers were just a point behind fourth-place Allan Hancock (101 to 102).

Coach Innocent Egbunike's Lancers return to action on Friday, Oct. 10 when they race at the Manny Bautista Invitational at NTC Park, hosted by San Diego Mesa.
