The Pasadena City College football team had hopes of a winning season in 2016 after dropping to the lower American Division of the SCFA. Playing in the American Metro League, the Lancers were supposed to be a favorite. Instead, PCC dropped four of its last five league games and finished on a sour note with a 4-6 record.
The Pasadena City College football team may want to petition the SCFA to play all its games at Robinson Stadium. Away from PCC, it's been a truly tough road for the Lancers. Pasadena finished 0-5 in road games in 2016 as East Los Angeles College celebrated its American Metro League title in a 63-17 rout over the Lancers.

With Tom Maher making a second tour of duty as head coach, PCC hopes to find success in 2016 in a new conference. Pasadena will play in the newly formed SCFA Metro League as part of the American Division.
