A returning All-SCFA American Pacific League First Team selection at outside linebacker, Brumfield was second on the Lancers in tackles with 57, made 3.5 sacks, broke up five passes, had one fumble recovery. He added two electrifying interception returns, one of 74 yards v. West Los Angeles and a 46-yard pick six for a touchdown v. LA Valley.

The Pasadena City College football team used an efficient ground game that resulted in five touchdowns as the Lancers stayed perfect at 6-0 by winning their SCFA American Pacific League opener over Santa Monica, 35-16, on Saturday afternoon.
