Third-Quarter Explosion Gives State #22 Football Win Over #19 Bakersfield

Down 17-0 late in the second quarter, things looked bleak for the Pasadena City College football team v. state #19 Bakersfield. But the #22 Lancers staged one of the most improbable and fastest comebacks, scoring five straight touchdowns in the third quarter on their way to a 45-24 victory in a SCFA Central League game at Robinson Stadium on Saturday night.

Tale of Two Halves as #18 Football Loses First Central League Encounter

For two quarters, host College of the Canyons used big plays to take a commanding 20-0 halftime lead. But in the second half, the state #18 Pasadena City College football team dominated the Cougars defensively and a late rally came up a little short as the Lancers dropped their SCFA Central League opener, 20-14, on Saturday afternoon.
