The Pasadena City College men's basketball team has fully recovered from a 1-5 start to the 2025-26 season by winning for the sixth time in its last seven contests. On Monday afternoon at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium, PCC improved to 8-7 overall by defeating Copper Mountain, 62-53.

Preparing for his first game as Pasadena City College men's basketball interim head coach, Spenser Nunes had a big enough endeavor with the Lancers facing pre-season state #6-ranked San Bernardino Valley in the 2025-26 season opener. Except the veteran assistant coach from the past PCC three seasons got the added hurdle of having to go into surgery for an emergency appendectomy on Oct. 29.
