The Pasadena City College men's cross country season officially came to a close for 2017 with sophomore Eduardo Urbina placing 101st at the CCCAA State Championships Saturday at Fresno's Woodward Park.

Urbina Lone PCC Men's Cross Country Runner To Qualify For State

Pasadena City College men's cross country team leader Eduardo Urbina placed 70th overall out of 196 runners at the Southern Calfiornia Championships held November 3 at Santa Clarita's Central Park as he qualified as an individual for the CCCAA State meet.

Men's Cross Country 6th At SCC Championships

While the Pasadena City College men's cross country team finished sixth out of eight teams at the South Coast Conference Championships Friday, the Lancers learned their season will continue as they received an at-large berth to the Southern California Championships.

Men's Cross Country 11th At Mt. SAC Invitational

The Pasadena City College men's cross country team showed more improvement with an 11th place finish out of 18 teams at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational on Oct. 13. The Lancers placed ahead of two South Coast Conference foes in East Los Angeles and LA Harbor.

Men Harriers Run Longer At Mustang Challenge

The Pasadena City College men's cross country team went up against a group of 4-year universities and a few 2-year colleges at the Master's University 6th Mustang Challenge Sept. 30. The Lancers ran on the Central Park, Santa Clarita course that will be the site of the Southern California Champions, but with a twist--they participated in a longer, 8-kilometer race.

Men's Cross Country Races Up Against Best In Region At SoCal Preview Meet

The Pasadena City College men's cross country team learned it has plenty more work to do to improve after taking 22nd place as a team out of 27 scoring colleges at the SoCal Preview Meet held Friday at Central Park in Santa Clarita.

Last year, he settled for being the No. 2 runner, but returning sophomore Eduardo Urbina established himself as the top harrier for the Pasadena City College men's cross country team Friday at the 2017 season-opening, Palomar Invitational meet.
