Late Rally Falls Short, Women's Soccer Season Ends In Round 2 Playoff Loss

Time and time again during the 2023 season, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team would find moments of quick strike ability. Trailing 3-0 late in its Southern California Regional Playoff quarterfinal match at #5 seed Santa Barbara City College, the #13 Lancers went into full offensive mode.

Historic Win For PCC Women's Soccer At Mt. SAC In Double OT

Ever since the Pasadena City College women's soccer team was brought into the fold in 1997, the Lancers have played rival South Coast Conference rival Mt. San Antonio every single season. And for 27 meetings, including two this year, PCC had come up empty on the win board in games played at the Walnut campus.

Women's Soccer Reaches Playoffs For 1st Time In 11 Years

It was a controversial turn in the seeding process, but the Pasadena City College women's soccer team made it into the postseason for the first since 2012. The Lancers were awarded the #14 seed and will play at #3 Mt. San Antonio this Saturday night at 7 p.m. (Nov. 18) in Round 1 of the Southern California Regional Playoffs.

Women's Soccer Match Highest Finish Ever In SCC (2nd), Host Conference Tourney Match on Friday

The best Pasadena City College women's soccer season in 11 years continues to get better for the state #12-ranked Lancers. PCC closed the 9-match, South Coast Conference regular season at 7-2 to take second place in the SCC North Division.

Tied with Rio Hondo College, the host Pasadena City College women's soccer team knew time was about to run out in their South Coast Conference game on Tuesday. Hailey Hull played the hero and kicked in the game-winner in the 90th minute as the Lancers celebrated a 1-0 victory to grab second place to themselves in the SCC North Division.

Twenty-Two Years Later, PCC Women's Soccer Finally Wins At Cerritos

The roster of the 2023 Pasadena City College women's soccer team wasn't born the last time the Lancers won a game at long-time, South Coast Conference rival Cerritos College. A 22-year streak without a victory at the Norwalk campus came to an end on Friday as the state #12-ranked Lancers blanked the host Falcons, 1-0.

The state #11-ranked Pasadena City College women's soccer team enjoys matches at Robinson Stadium this season. PCC has put together an outstanding 7-0-1 mark at home this year, including a 5-0 triumph over Compton on Friday night in a South Coast Conference match.

#5 Long Beach Ends Women's Soccer School-Record Unbeaten Streak

It took another unbeaten team from the South Coast Conference in state #5-ranked Long Beach City College to end the Pasadena City College women's soccer team's record season-long, undefeated streak on Tuesday. The #11-rated visiting Lancers fell behind on an early goal and went on to lose for the first time in 2023, 4-0.

Streak At Baker's Dozen As Women's Soccer Scores Double Digits v. LA City

The state #11-ranked Pasadena City College women's soccer team figured it was time to finally show off its offensive abilities on Friday night. The Lancers extended their historic, season-long undefeated streak to 13 games (9-0-4) in routing winless Los Angeles City, 10-0, at Robinson Stadium.

Women's Soccer Wins SCC Opener, Streak At 12 Games

The state #11-ranked Pasadena City College women's soccer team opened South Coast Conference play with a 3-2 victory at LA Harbor College on Tuesday. The Lancers extended their season-long, undefeated streak to 12 games at 8-0-4.

Historic Women's Soccer Undefeated Streak Now At 11 Games

The longest undefeated streak in the history of Pasadena City College women's soccer continued on Friday as the state #11-ranked Lancers edged visiting #20 College of the Desert, 2-1. PCC have not been beaten in now 11 straight games at 7-0-4.

Late Goal Keeps Now State #11 Women's Soccer Undefeated Streak Going At 10 Games

Excited with the news that it had jumped to #11 on the CCCSIA State Top 20 Poll, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team knew opponents would come hard at the Lancers. Unranked San Diego Miramar did just that and took a 1-0 lead with 11 minutes left on Tuesday at Robinson Stadium.

State #16 Women's Soccer Holds Own v. #1 Chaffey, 0-0 Draw

Getting recognition on the CCCSIA State Top 20 for the first time at #16, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team carried that confidence into the Panthers den on Friday--a contest at #1-ranked Chaffey. The result was the Lancers' third 0-0 tie of the season in a shocker that has placed the rest of the state on notice that PCC has a playoff ready squad.

Women's Soccer Stays Undefeated At 6-0-2

Matching a streak of eight straight games without a defeat in 2019, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team continued its dominating run through opponents thus far this season with a 4-0 win at Santa Ana College on Tuesday afternoon.

Women's Soccer Upsets #14 Orange Coast, Undefeated After 7 Games

Pasadena City College women's soccer head coach Terryn Soelberg knows what kind of team she recruited coming into the 2023 season. The Lancers continue to impress and their 2-1 upset victory over state #14-ranked Orange Coast on Friday night was an exclamation point to put the program back on the map among top teams.
