Pasadena City College women's swimmer Nickey Hale rallied from four seconds behind at one point to win the 400-yard individual medley gold medal at the 2023 South Coast Conference Championships held April 20-22 at East Los Angeles College. The sophomore Hale won the IM crown for the second straight year and finished with three conference titles in her two seasons.
The Pasadena City College women's swim team has a small group in 2023, but one that has come together with some strong performances of late. With the South Coast Conference dual meet season completed, the Lancers are concentrating on getting to their best times in their final three big meets.
Nickey Hale, a South Coast Conference double event champion last year, has returned to lead the Pasadena City College women's swim team into the 2023 season.
