Three Volleyball Lancers Gain 4-Year University Scholarships

Pasadena City College women's volleyball players Camille Ferguson, Jada O'Malley, and Sharon Ohlgisser all are headed to 4-year universities on scholarships. The three players played on back-to-back Lancers South Coast Conference North Division champion teams in 2017 and 2018.

Women's Volleyball Captures 2nd Straight SCC North Title

An opening conference loss didn't deter the Pasadena City College women's volleyball team, which went 6-1 over the next seven division matches to win its second consecutive South Coast Conference North Division championship. PCC clinched the title on Friday in a hard-fought sweep at Chaffey College, 25-23, 25-21, 27-25.

The pressure of playing for all the marbles in a fifth set of a match is now just a way of life for the 2018 Pasadena City College women's volleyball team. Women's Volleyball Sees Positive In 5-Set Loss v. State #22 Ventura

While the effect of Wednesday night's 5-set loss to state No. 22-ranked Ventura College is yet to be seen, the Pasadena City College women's volleyball team isn't disappointing head coach Mike Terrill. On the contrary, the Lancers played with heart and emotion and he was excited about the team's performance before a loud crowd at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.
