An All-South Coast Conference First Team selection as a freshman, Pasadena City College women's water polo goalie Gloria Gray is talented in a number of ways. Her strong right arm has been utilized to try to set up plays out of timeouts and she has been known to take the long-range shot at mid-pool or even closer in.
The Pasadena City College women's water polo team picked up some steam in the third quarter with three late goals but East Los Angeles' 6-goal second quarter sent the Lancers to a South Coast Conference defeat, 10-5, on Wednesday at Pasadena Poly School.
The Pasadena City College women's water polo team has fought through injuries to get back into play with two games at the Citrus Tournament on Friday. The Lancers lost to LA Valley, 12-7, and against San Diego Miramar, 13-4.
Luna Encinas scored six goals but it wasn't enough as the Pasadena City College women's water polo team fell v. El Camino, 12-8, in the South Coast Conference round-robin opener for both teams and PCC's home opener at Pasadena Poly on Wednesday.
With the return of All-South Coast Conference First Team goalie Gloria Gray, the Pasadena City College women's water polo team expects defense to be a strength as the Lancers open the 2023 season.
