For two seasons, shooting guard Shant Chenorhavorian played side-by-side with fellow guard Deen Abdur-Rahmann as head coach Ryan Frazer brought the Pasadena City College men's basketball program back among the top teams in Southern California. Chenorhavorian will get to continue to play with his Lancers teammate at his next stop--Azusa Pacific University.

#2 San Diego City Too Much To Handle For #15 Men's Basketball

The #15 seed Pasadena City College men's basketball team used athleticism, hustle and the 3-point shot to beat teams during the 2023-2024 season. They met their match in #2 San Diego City College, a team with size, strong defense and its own brand of high energy as the Knights ended the Lancers postseason run, 87-69, on Saturday night.

With the news that sophomores Myles Watkins and Deen Abdur-Rahmann were selected to the All-South Coast Conference North Division First Team, the Pasadena City College men's basketball team grabbed the #15 seed for the start of the Southern California Regional Playoffs this week.

Men's Cagers Sink State #4 Mt. SAC At The Line

The Pasadena City College men's basketball team was near perfect at the free throw line on Friday night. Making a remarkable 24 of 25 attempts, including its first 22 attempts, the unranked Lancers used the 96 percent accuracy at the stripe to knock off state #4-ranked Mt. San Antonio, 83-76.

While there was pouring rain outside Wednesday night, it was raining as well inside Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium. Raining 3-pointers that is. Chenorhavorian Steps Up In Men's Hoops Win Over LA Harbor

Sophomore guard Shant Chenorhavorian scored his season high of 22 points and also led his squad with eight rebounds and eight assists as the Pasadena City College men's basketball team won its fourth in five games in defeating host Los Angeles Harbor, 78-67, on Wednesday night.

Men's Basketball Says Good Knight LA Southwest In Victory

The Pasadena City College men's basketball team has auditioned for a sixth man off the bench who can deliver secondary scoring. The Lancers may have found their man in freshman long-range shooter Barry Knight, who poured in a season-high 20 points as PCC downed short-handed, state #23-ranked Los Angeles Southwest, 82-63, on Friday night.

Men's Hoops Enjoying SCC Crossover Play

Last season, the Pasadena City College men's basketball team finished 5-1 in crossover contests against the South Division of the South Coast Conference. So far, the Lancers are 2-1 in such games, including Wednesday's 77-53 rout at El Camino College. It was the Lancers largest margin of victory in their eight wins during the 2023-24 campaign.

Men's Basketball Place 2nd At Santa Rosa Tournament

The Pasadena City College men's basketball team had a 5-game win streak snapped as Yuba edged the Lancers, 61-59, in the championship game of the 47th Santa Rosa Junior College Kris Kringle Tournament on Saturday.

The Pasadena City College men's basketball team recovered from a 1-4 start to the '23-24 season by winning three straight games to capture the Antelope Valley Gregg Anderson Memorial Tournament title Dec. 1-3.

Preview: Men's Basketball Looking To Build On Last Season's Success

Last season as the new head coach of men's basketball at Pasadena CIty College, Ryan Frazer did things that hadn't been accomplished at PCC in a long time. Frazer turned around a program that had won one game the previous season and got the Lancers within a minute of making it to the 3C2A State Championship Final Eight, only to lose a late lead and the game to to San Bernardino Valley in the SoCal Regional Finals.
